Applied Practicum Experience

The APE is a requirement of the UF MPH Program. It involves 150 hours of internship work and two project deliverables. I am completing my APE as a Data Intern with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc.

As a Data Intern with AHP, Inc., I have worked with both the California 988 Suicide Network and the California Hub & Spoke System for Opioid Treatment. My deliverables by the end of my APE will include a demographic trend analysis of help-seekers that contact the 988 network and a presentation on Individual Resiliency Training for clinicians working with individuals experiencing First-Episode Psychosis.
